The Mold Inspection by Inside & Out Property Inspectors, Inc. is performed to find mold. Once the mold has been discovered, the source of the mold can be found. Our inspectors evaluate the home to find areas prone to water damage and high humidity. Afterwards, the homeowner is given protocols to follow to remove the mold.

How Do We Test For Mold?

Air Samples
Air samples are taken both inside and outside the home to determine if there are any particulates that should not be there.
Visible Growth Swabs
Any visible growth will be swabbed and sent to a lab to determine the type of mold which is important to know because it can determine the steps to take for removal.
Shipping
All samples are shipped to an environmental testing laboratory
Detailed Report
A detailed report is provided within 48 hours, which documents if particulates were found and the levels they were at.

Why Do I Need A Mold Inspection?

Mold can contain produce mycotoxins which can cause toxic responses in the body and negative health effects. The symptoms can depend on the level of mold present, and the length of exposure. Some symptoms can include headaches, rash, itching, eye irritation, and even some more serious health effects like liver and kidney disease.
